Optimizing battery electrode morphology

Designed a gradient-free topology optimization algorithm based on deep neural networks, and applied it to battery electrode.

Diffusivity from EIS and GITT

GITT and EIS are two popular techniques to measure diffusivity. Yet, their results sometimes have up to orders of magnitude difference. This project resolved the discrepancy of diffusivity measurement of these two methods.

Measured and calculated the parameters used in a psudo-two dimensional (P2D) model, a physics-based battery model.
